Croft celebrates a year of growth and transformation at Croftfest 2022

2022 has been a big year for Croft, and we haven’t stood still for a moment. Looking back to the start of January, when we started the year as a telecommunications company with around 45 staff, we’ve achieved so much already. In a few short months we’ve evolved into a managed IT service provider, made a series of amazing acquisitions, and almost doubled our workforce to 84!

In the midst of all that growth and change, the ever-expanding Croft team took some time out on 9th September, to let our hair down and celebrate our successes, at the first annual Croftfest event.

A chance to come together

Based in offices all over the UK, from Bristol to Barnsley and Harrogate to Hertford,it’s not often that the Croft family gets the chance to all get together in one place. So Croftfest 2022, organised by our ever-capable Executive Assistant, Elle, was a fantastic chance for the wider team to come together to socialise and have fun. As a company with people at its heart, social events like this are a really important way for us to nurture our Croft community – especially now that we are welcoming so many new arrivals at such a fast pace.

At this year’s Croftfest, the team were treated to welcome drinks and a BBQ dinner, followed by more drinks, dancing and beer pong! There was even a saxophonist who serenaded us after dinner. Congratulations to our beer pong champion, Marco Cacciatore, who impressed everyone with his shot technique. Special mentions should also go to Ian Smith for his moves on the dancefloor, and the stylish Steve Teasdale for being the best dressed guest!

Looking forward to a bright future

This year’s Croftfest was a great way to celebrate our successes in 2022, including several exciting acquisitions and a win at the Inspiring Herts awards. But it was also a chance to look forward to what’s coming next. As telecoms and IT increasingly converge into one unified service, we’re excited about offering a full package of managed services, from hosted telephony to disaster recovery.  The acquisitions we have made this year, such as Cloud9, Design Communications and Claro Communications, put us in a really strong position to offer first-class managed service solutions across the board.
