Windows 10 End-of-Life Support

Using outdated technology like Windows 10 could put your business systems and data at risk.

Get in touch

When Microsoft launched Windows 10 in 2015, it revolutionised the operating system landscape with its modern interface, enhanced versatility, and intuitive user experience.

But every technology lifecycle has its conclusion. On October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will officially reach its end-of-life, marking the end of an era for this trusted platform.

What Does Windows 10 End-of-life Mean for Your Business?

When Windows 10 reaches its end-of-life (EOL) date, Microsoft will discontinue all regular updates, security patches, and technical support that have been automatically delivered to your systems.

While Windows 10 will still function normally, your business will no longer receive the essential updates needed to protect against emerging security threats or improve system performance.

Replacing your legacy devices

Whilst upgrading to Windows 11 on an older device may seem a cheaper and convenient option, but it won't provide the long-term performance you expect.

Businesses that invest in devices with Windows 11 preinstalled will benefit from increased productivity, AI capabilities, lower IT costs, and a future-proofed IT infrastructure.

Replacing Your Devices

Older hardware often lacks the necessary specifications to fully support Windows 11's advanced features, potentially leading to slower processing speeds, compatibility issues, and reduced overall system efficiency that could impact daily operations.

Businesses that instead invest in devices with Windows 11 preinstalled will benefit from significantly increased productivity, enhanced AI capabilities, lower IT costs, and a future-proofed IT infrastructure.

We offer two purchasing options to upgrade your existing equipment to benefit from Windows 11. Your business can either buy the device outright or take advantage of Technology as a Service.

Technology as a Service

Technology as a Service (TaaS)  is more than a procurement model—it’s a strategic approach to IT lifecycle management that aligns operational efficiency with sustainability and innovation.

Stay Ahead with Technology as a Service

TaaS delivers a complete solution: brand-new equipment professionally installed with full warranty coverage, refreshed every three years. All new equipment comes with Windows 11 pre-installed. When your term ends, we collect your devices for refurbishment and resale in our second-life market, creating a truly sustainable technology lifecycle.

Structured Innovation, Zero Waste

This approach guarantees you’ll never be left behind with obsolete technology. Your structured three-year upgrade cycle keeps you current with the latest innovations while significantly reducing e-waste – strengthening your environmental credentials (ESG) and supporting your sustainability goals.

Future-Ready Performance

Fresh laptops mean enhanced productivity, robust security, and reduced compliance risks. Your team benefits from seamless performance while your business stays protected from data breaches and operational disruptions. This proactive strategy doesn’t just safeguard your current operations – it positions your organisation for sustained growth and emerging technology opportunities.

When we started looking at our renewal, Croft’s approach and knowledge of the market was fantastic.

We were not pressured at any point during the discussions to make a decision straight away. All the information we were provided throughout the consultation was second to none with a great level of detail and options.

When it came to renewing our contract, it was a very easy decision to do so as no other supplier could come close.
